This card was made for OperationWriteHome.org . The monthly challenge for Our Daily Bread Stamps was to use green, brown and pink.  If OWH gets 50 card makers to participate in the challenge, ODB donates $50 towards shipping boxes of cards to service members overseas!
   This stamp is from Inky Antics. I colored it using colored pencils and blended with gamisol. The card is actually a trifold card I learned in an Inky Antic class at StampScrapArt tour in Westminster, MD!

Today's post is in response to a card I made using colored pencils and gamisol blending fluid with bending stumps.  The tutorial is at OperationWriteHome.org.  It showed a HouseMouse stamp but I only own one mouse from InkyAntics. After I colored and blended it, I shadowed the image with a light grey Tombow marker to give it depth.
The paper is from a DCWV Christmas pad.

New Doodle Pantry card

I made this card for the August Doodle Pantry challenge. Uses the armadillo image and paper. I love these digital precolored kits.  So cute and coordinated. Great vivid colors.

Made some Christmas cards for OWH using a DCWV paper pad I got 1/2 price last year. Had this recollections stamp set for a while. Like the vintage feel.  Also works for OWH midweek challenge - Christmas in July. These were quick and easy but I think they came out really nice.

This my Christmas card for this year.  I have about 32 done. I need to make at least another 20. Its a CTMH stamp I have had for many, many years and never been able to get a card I liked using it. I think this worked pretty well.  The OWH Our Daily Bread challenge was to use stitching.  I hope the stitching on the ribbon counts!

This is a card I made using DoodlePantry pre-colored digi and digital backgrounds.  The donkey is so sweet.  He could be a Christmas donkey, but I don't have any digital Christmas paper... hmmm. Maybe I can make some...

Journaling... I think I'm gonna start

One of my friends from card club, Wendy, showed us her Smashbook yesterday.  It's a journal/scrapbook that she is channeling her artistic side and emotional side into.  Its seemed really cool, but I'm not sure I'm into the paper.  I think I will try it on my blog.  Its not as artistic on the blog, but I will try to post more of my cards for OWH to feed my artistic side.

I figure it's like thinking out loud, but your friends and others can hear what you say. :)
